This 19 ft ceiling fixture presented an opportunity to experiment with light and color. Vox chose a variety of programable LEDs and soft halogens to accent the existing stainless steel structure. To add color and interest, prisms and optical grade laminated aluminium, imported from Germany, were placed throughout the fixture. Hidden from view, these optical devices, refracted and reflected light onto the center panel, thus generating a variety of lighting patterns. Combined with computer programable light settings, the original stainless steel fixture was transformed into an ever-changing work of art.
