This landscape lighting design has four principal features. The existing semicircular deck was fitted with a custom designed wraparound bench. The bench design incorporates concealed lighting which softly washes the deck and seating area without the use of conventional exposed light fixtures.
The grounds are lit with fixtures fitted with custom dichroic glass filters. The filter colors alternate between various shades of blue and green and are positioned at staggered distances from the central deck, adding the illusion of great depth to a small yard.
Focal lighting for sculptural pieces is integrated into the ground lighting scheme, as is a music distribution system with concealed loudspeakers.
